Young Apprenticeships in Health & Social Care
Young Apprenticeships [YA] have been developed to provide bright and motivated 14-16 year olds in England with a way to discover more about working in the health, social care and early years sectors, to work towards a nationally recognised vocationally related qualification and to continue with their mainstream education at the same time.
The Health, Social Care and Early Years sectors in England are evolving. New working practices, increasing use of technology and a shift in focus to a more user-centric approach mean we need to develop a workforce that has the skills to take us forward.
The opportunities are there. There is now a huge range of career opportunities in all the Health, Social and Early Years sectors, with great career prospects and real progression.
The potential is there. There are 1000s of young people who would like the chance to find out more about the sectors and to get valuable experience of working in them whilst still at school.
